Something like this recently happened on the blog of a Pittsburgh politician. He recently started a blog to stick up for the mayor and then suddenly took it down and deleted the blog.
When someone deletes their blog, it then opens up the name for anyone to scoop up. That is what happened to the Pittsburgh politician and evidently Brian's blog.
So a word to the wise -- if you put your blog on hiatis just refrain from updating it and DO NOT delete it.
